The Shu Shu's
The Shu Shu's is a premier Organ Trio dedicated to the raw, soulful sounds of jazz-funk, boogaloo, and R&B. Blending vintage analog warmth with contemporary energy, they have established themselves as a staple for fans of the classic Blue Note era, delivering an electric experience defined by the iconic roar of the Hammond organ and an unbreakable rhythmic pocket.
The band's trajectory is highlighted by their powerhouse five-year partnership with the legendary Gisele Jackson, a collaboration that has yielded two albums and numerous international tours. Over the years, they have also shared the stage and studio with a prestigious roster of international talent, including Brian Jackson (legendary collaborator of Gil Scott-Heron), the "Godfather of Swing" Ray Gelato, Memphis virtuoso Charlie Wood, and the soulful Irish vocalist Sinead Savage.
Whether through original compositions or fresh takes on soul-jazz classics, The Shu Shu's offer a masterclass in technical virtuosity and pure, unadulterated groove. It is a project that keeps the flame of the Hammond tradition alive with elegance, power, and undeniable style.
